I am research assistant of Biology at Kastamonu University and also a PhD student in Division of Ecology, Department of Biology at Hacettepe University.
My research interests focus on fuel flammability in the Mediterranean Basin and the role of plant flammability in plant evolution. I am currently studying the variability of flammability traits in shrub species in Pinus brutia forests at the population level, and the role of local fire regimes in creating this variability.
