Research topic: Plant functional traits of Anatolian steppe vegetation

Education: MSc on Ecology (2019), BSc on Biology (2016)

Current position: Scholarship student at Hacettepe University (TÜBİTAK 2211-A National Ph.D. Scholarship Program)

I am interested in plant functional traits and grassland ecology. In this concept, I compiled a plant functional trait database for Anatolian steppes which identified the functional trait structure of this vegetation based on the Turkish flora book. Currently, I am working on developing this database with the data obtained from literature research. In the next step, I aim to confirm those trait records in the database by my own measurements and develop the database by adding new plant traits. Please click for my full CV.
